For me, business dinners are a fine balance between formalities and relaxation. The best bet for entertaining business partners is usually a formal restaurant with great food and a great wine list. 21 Grill on Hannover ticks all the boxes with an option of a private room for more private and intimate business dinners.  I have been to the restaurant four times before and I am back a fifth time because everyone around me cannot get enough of it.

The restaurant is located in the colonial themed Protea Ryall’s Hotel, which is centrally located. The staff are very friendly.  I would advise that, before dinner, you start off at the bar and enjoy some Malawian vodka or Malawian gin. They do not make cocktails though, I found this little fact surprising, but it did not take away from my great experience.

The restaurant, with its old world charm, has books stacked on bookshelves and relaxing background music.

My party enjoyed different meal choices and we all started off with a great 2015 Shiraz from South Africa’s Cape of Good Hope – small world.IMG_2907

Some other wine selections on display.
